Hi! Thanks for clicking on my profile. My name is Tiana [tea-anna] and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who strives to create a safe, welcoming, and client centered therapeutic environment. I was born and raised here in Reno, NV by immigrant parents. I am a proud Vietnamese and Chinese American. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling at the University of Nevada, Reno. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life. I approach each client with curiosity and an eagerness to learn about their world. In my work I integrate therapeutic models such as person centered therapy, feminist counseling theory, parts work while integrating cultural humility and systemic awareness. I believe in letting my client’s lead session and telling me what they want to explore. I look forward to meeting you and learning about you. :)
