Clinical Psychologist | Coaching for Professionals | Individual Therapy in Reno

Dr. Quinten Lynn is a Reno-based clinical psychologist who works with professionals, leaders, and high-performing individuals seeking clarity, direction, and sustainable success in both their personal and professional lives.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience in clinical psychology and performance work, Dr. Lynn offers coaching for professionals as well as individual therapy, helping clients navigate high-pressure roles, life transitions, and complex personal challenges. His work is especially well-suited for those in high-accountability professions, individuals exploring spiritual or existential concerns, and men seeking a more intentional and grounded approach to growth.

Dr. Lynn’s background includes advanced training in both clinical psychology and performance psychology. He earned his doctorate from Bowling Green State University, completed his clinical internship at Brigham Young University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Kansas State University’s Counseling Center. He later served as Director of Sport Psychology at Louisiana State University, where he provided clinical and performance services to athletes and coaches.

Today, his work reflects an integration of therapy and consultation. While he continues to support clients through meaningful personal work, his approach is increasingly forward-focused, strategic, and growth-oriented, helping clients move beyond symptom management toward clarity, purpose, and high-level functioning.

After more than two decades away, Dr. Lynn returned to Reno in 2017 to establish his private practice and later founded Mt. Rose Counseling and Wellness in 2021.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Lynn values time with his family and being outdoors. He enjoys trail running, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time on Lake Tahoe. He is also an active endurance athlete and has recently developed a passion for triathlon.
