Justus Mora, LMFT

Justus is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who establishes a supportive and safe environment where clients can share openly their perceptions, challenge their behaviors, increase self-awareness, and develop skills that can bring about hope and change. His approach with clients is always authentic, collaborative, interactive, affirming, and motivating. He believes in a shame-free, co-created relationship where warmth, empathy, and humor are not only valued, but encouraged. The goal of therapy is to gain perspective in areas of dysfunction and not only ease current suffering, but to learn from it in a way that encourages emotional growth.

Justus achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. His therapeutic approach is most often a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and client-centered therapy. He feels privileged to work with all individuals and is especially focused to work on goals relating to mood disorders, relationship dynamics, sexual health and functioning, sexual desire, sexual pleasure, diverse sexual interests and/or behaviors, kink, sex work, ethical non-monogamy, sexual preoccupations, and intimacy skills and issues. Justus is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.
