Colleen Ulibarri, MA, CPC - Intern
My name is Colleen and I am a Clinical Professional Counselor, Intern. I work children, teens and adults with a particular focus on women traversing through pregnancy and motherhood. I also work with adults navigating issues related to developmental and relational trauma in addition to anxiety, depression and self-esteem. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence and young adults navigating complex trauma and life transitions.
I believe therapy is a courageous step in acknowledging that some part of your life needs exploration, reflection, or tenderness. No matter how much or how little you might be struggling, you deserve to be nurtured and cared for – the whole of you. I provide a safe, welcoming, calm and non-judgmental space for you to feel supported and understood.
My style is influenced by psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral theory and internal parts work. I use mindfulness-based and trauma-informed approaches as well.
When I’m not “in the chair” I am chasing a curious toddler and toting her in a backpack through the wilderness. I play volleyball weekly and enjoy discovering and sharing great food with friends.
